The 2008 Summer Olympics begins Friday in Beijing, China as the world's best athletes compete for a gold medal.
The TV schedule for the Olympics has been released beginning with Friday. The opening ceremony will be broadcasted several times around the world. However, in the U.S., it will be broadcasted at 7:30 p.m. on NBC.
The schedule continues on CNBC with boxing, while USA will feature several women's events, including the U.S. soccer team and U.S. basketball team.
